Apple, Cheese and Cinnamon Bagel

This is one of my favorite childhood snacks! I found a picture of me eating them and got all nostalgic and stuff.  I whipped some up for me and kiddos STAT! They loved them as much as I had forgotten I had.

Ingredients:

1 bagel
1 green apple
2 slices of cheddar cheese
1/8 tsp. of cinnamon

Open up your bagel.  Slice your apple in round slices.  I usually make them about 1/4 inch thick or so, but it doesn’t matter too much. Knock out any seeds and lay a slice on each bagel half.  Put a cheese slice on top of each apple slice and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Use can toast these in a toaster oven, bake at 350 degrees in the oven or do what I do and nuke them in the microwave. No matter what they cook quickly because they are done when the cheese melts. Give them a minute to cool and enjoy!
